Vlado Karamazov joined the third day of one of the biggest digital technology festivals in Europe – Webit, as part of Bulgarian Digital Summit. The actor talked about his consistent work in the digital space in the last years. He was a special guest at the panel discussion “Video Marketing that Makes/Breaks the Rules”, moderated by Peter Vladimirov from PVDigital.
The actor shared good practices of digital activations for theatre projects. He also talked about the results of his collaborations with famous brands and the activities he has with Viber’s Bulgarian office on the largest VoIP platform. With visual examples of current video campaigns on his social channels, Vlado confirmed that it is very important to be persistent and consistent in the digital space, to build up and develop consistently every online channel. The high engagement of the audience is one of the key advantages of the projects that Vlado invents and develops himself. Some of the projects he talked about were his video diaries from the filming of “Devil’s Throat” series, his upcoming GIFs, his recreation of familiar songs, “Control Vlado’s Day” video activation in his Viber community, and others.
“You should know how to challenge yourself, to risk and to exploit to the maximum the capabilities of the new technologies. In my case, things happened step by step – first I created a working and constantly updated website, while also developing my social networks, and when things were at top level, they started to support and feed each other. Thus, I created a micro digital system with multiple channels that are part of a whole and that work in sync”, Vlado shared with the audience in the crowded hall of the National Palace of Culture.
In his summary he did not miss to announce something that will soon appear on Viber – his first GIF package, realised in partnership with Nescafe Dolce Gusto, which will be among the first ones in the newly developed Viber GIF platform.
