“Delhi Dance” and Vlado Karamazov with a tour at “Varna Summer” 22 May 2018

On the 3rd and 4th of June, “Delhi Dance” production will be a guest on the 25th edition of the “Varna Summer” International Theatre Festival. Vlado Karamazov, in the company of Elena Telbis, Radena Valkanova, Radina Kurdjilova, Svetlana Yancheva and Sofia Bobcheva, will engage the audience in seven one-act plays, constructed around the various interpretations of one topic. The essence of the seven stories is a mystical dance, and the characters (though the same) experience different things – losing or winning a loved one, crying, laughing, loving, betraying each other, arguing and reconciling. The action takes place on the “set”, there is a green screen and close-up screenings that capture the most subtle emotions.

Ivan Vyrypaev’s text, brilliantly interpreted by director Galin Stoev and his team of actors, has made “Delhi Dance” one of the top events of the theatre season. Right after its premiere, the production had its international debut with its French tour at the National Theatre in Toulouse.
