Poetic evening with the children of “Bulgarian Christmas” 22 December 2017

The children of “Bulgarian Christmas” with their parents, relatives and doctors decorated the Christmas tree in the presidency. Their kind hosts were the President of the Republic of Bulgaria and his wife – Mrs. Desislava Radeva. So the final stage of the 15^th edition of the charity initiative has symbolically started.

Special guests of the event were Vlado Karamazov, Julian Vergov, Vlado Penev and Slava Racheva, who presented to the children some of the most famous works of the Bulgarian literature dedicated to the Christmas and New Year holidays.

The poetic evening was garnished with the musical performances of the children vocal group “Bon-Bon”.

The actors shared with the children how much they love Christmas and how it is a time devoted to the closest people and the family, time for good deeds. They told them funny stories and helped them make the Christmas tree in the Presidency even more beautiful and festive.

The 15^th edition of “The Bulgarian Christmas” is devoted to the saved life of children. The campaign will focus on the long-term treatment and the active rehabilitation of children with disabilities.

The completed campaign 2016/2017 of the “Bulgarian Christmas”, dedicated to children with severe chronic diseases, managed to raise 2 650 000 BGN, which helped 474 children and donated medical equipment to 30 medical institutions from the whole country – university and general hospitals for active treatment.
